FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., April 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amerigon Incorporated (Nasdaq: ARGN) today announced that its Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The meeting will be held at the Company's new corporate offices in Farmington Hills, MI, and all shareholders are invited to attend.

Only holders of the Company's Common Stock or Series A Preferred Stock at the close of business on the record date, April 12, 2006, are entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting. Shareholders will be asked to vote on the election of directors to the Board of Directors and approval of the proposed 2006 Equity Incentive Plan covering 1.8 million shares of common stock.
